Its been two years since I was able to attend, but the Dia De Los Muertos street festival in Santa Ana is definitely one of my favorite events in SoCal. This is a community run event and the street vendors sell some of the best Spanish food I've ever eaten. I have dreams about the homemade Pasole I bought from a sweet old lady on a street corner. There are live bands, parades, skits, homemade alters, elaborate costumes and a ton of vendors.  The festival this year is being held on November 2nd in dowtown Santa Ana from 1pm-10pm. The cross streets are 4th and Birch.
